i have class friday but no final. . . yey! i'm done. . . on to more doing. . .

today i watched the business of being born. i just might have to try it again. . . birthing that is. (i know i can't believe i actually had that urge! biology.)

yesterday i read the road by cormac mccarthy. i read the whole thing. it's VERY good. i think i'll have to pick up his other books. i'm finishing up the little prince which i've never read.

i went to bikram yoga tonight. i love bikram yoga and feel blessed to have been able to go to hot yoga vs. vinyasa flow which is what had been working in my schedule. . . as someone who tends to lean kapha bikram yoga is good for me!

this is so stupid

so on friday when i got out of class i had this ticket on my windshield. it said i didn't pay. . . no in and outs?! can you see the parking voucher on my dash right below the ticket. so i appealed the ticket, obviously. i paid my $4.50 i'm not paying $20!

my appeal was denied, they said i left and came back without paying! i called the parking office and the lady pretty much accused me lying and stealing and said i can appeal again. i don't know what the hell is going on. i swear i paid. i swear i didn't leave. oh and on the phone i said i don't think i should have to jump through hoops for doing everything right. and she called me sir. ugh!

searching around i think this is my best, most cost effective option for my new whole foods. imagine if you will a nice rug, a console table with a chalk board sign with logo and prices hanging over it with 2 of these room dividers on either side. maybe a plant or 2, maybe a little chair or stool or some sort. I think this is it. gotta love cost plus. they don't have this console table in stock, he said a few weeks so I'm going to look around and try and find something with darker wood to match the screen a little better, but i like the style of that one. i can order it online but the shipping is a killer, so we'll see what i can find.

#1. salt water sandals. . . i'm so excited i got a box of clothes from mara including 2 pairs of salt water sandals!!! and 3 pairs of silver jeans! yey! so happy and excited. i always had salt water sandals when i was little and i love them. . .

#2. 5 minute chocolate mug cake. yes kiko's out of town and i made myself a chocolate mug cake at 8 pm. kiko's mom sent us an email about this so we had to try it and it works an it is delish. . .

4 Tbs flour
4 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs cocoa
1 egg
3 Tbs milk
3 Tbs oil
3 Tbs chocolate chips (optional)
a splash of vanilla extract
1 large microwave safe coffee mug

add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. add egg and mix well. then oil and milk mix very well. (make sure to get the bottom corners or you'll have flour on the top of your cake when you're done). add chocolate chips and vanilla if using and mix again.
put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes (1000 watts)
the cake may rise over the mug but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little and tip out onto a plate if desired.

i wished i had vanilla ice cream, but it is very dangerous, but maybe a little less dangerous because of it's petite size!

#1. have you ever played video games so much when you close your eyes you see images from the game? well when i close my eyes i'm haunted by weeds. i've been a weeding maniac, and there are a million billion weeds left in my yard to tackle. . . my old neighbor told me you have to learn to love weeding. i'm working on it.

#2. people need to understand craigslist it like a garage sale. you have to price things like a garage sale. . . i don't give a fuck how much you paid, you don't want it no more. . . things should be CHEAP on there. i know i know everyone is trying to make a buck but come on people, price to sell. it's your old crap no matter how much it cost when you bought it.

#3. i cannot afford to build a glass brick wall at the wash park whole foods. i'm talking to carpenters about possibly building 2 L shaped units faced with soji screens?? the manager says to just use screens but they are too high and too easily tipped over. . . any creative ideas???

Baha'i? i was listening to rainn wilson talk about his website soul pancake and he said he grew up in teh baha'i faith. it's pretty rad i'm all about it now. . .

i'm all about unity. that's what's wrong with most religion, it divides people rather than bring them together. rainn also said that creativity is like a prayer, there is no difference in saying a prayer and putting brush to a canvas. i'm all about creativity too. . .
