summer suggestions

mango sticky rice:

so easy. sticky rice, mango, coconut milk heated with a little salt and sugar. yum!

my little tomatos!

so i bought the earing on the right. it's tigers eye and the big piece looks like a shell of some sort. i realized i had everything to make earings like that so i did the 2 on the left. the orange one is a large glass bead, faux pearls, carnelian, amber, and citrine and the middle one is citrine and garnet. i'm not sure i like them, but i think i will try a few more.

this is some kind of squash i think. i just put seeds in the ground, and there's some stuff coming up but i didn't label them. what a terrible gardener! there's some lettuce coming up, and peas. .

this is sort of inspired by denver's own vance kirkland. i need some wooden dowels like the ones he used! but i had this idea of the shape and colors. it's hard to get perfectly round dots like he did. i'm not done, i want to put a word, or quote or something on it.

isn't this cute! it's a cake! i found it on this blog i was cruzing. . . i love her blog! so much fun stuff, i could get lost in there forever!

i'm still kind of sad and missing that tree, but it had little blue berries that made a mess. it opened up our back yard in such a crazy way. we've had rain again so no yard work the last 2 days. . . which is good because, my business is blowing up. it's super crazy. i feel blessed and a little overwhelmed. i got things going at wash park this week and got a call from the new store opening down south and went to look at the space they are thinking for us. it's so beautiful. i hope i can pull it off. i have to get even more organized. remember to breathe!
